New Computer Setup

Congratulations on your new machine!

Most of the setup and configuration has been done for you, but there's a few things you may need to do on your own to get started. If you have any difficulties or questions, please email helpdesk@can-traffic.ca.

Logging In

Use your full email address and your Can-Traffic Microsoft account password to sign-in.

App Setup

1. OneDrive

Please sign-in to OneDrive using your Can-Traffic Microsoft account.

It's important that you turn on backups when prompted to ensure that you don't lose any information.

OneDrive also works in the background to ensure that Teams files are up to date.

2. Outlook (Email)

I recommend using the "classic" version of Outlook. You can use the new version if you prefer, but setup is generally easier with classic and it has better support for attachments and add-ins.

3. Microsoft Teams

Sign-in to Teams using your Can-Traffic Microsoft account.

How to Sync Teams Files to File Explorer

When syncing to File Explorer, please sync the document root, not individual folders from the team.
